Youth Ministry

7th-12th Grade

Middle and High School is quite a ride! Let’s face it, it isn’t easy and it’s a journey. Our Student Ministry is named Journey because we recognize this. Living as a teenager in today’s world can be confusing and often it generates more questions than answers. It is our desire to train up our teens with a foundation build on Jesus Christ and prepare them for the world they are about to enter.

Each week Journey students gather together for an hour and a half of “controlled chaos”. The team of staff and volunteer leaders prepare for Journey with prayer and preparation so students encounter Christ in the midst of silly games, crazy stories, and serious discussion. Students are presented with the Gospel of Christ and taught what God says in His word about issues they face daily. While it may seem wild and crazy, every moment is purposeful and the love that God has for these students is spoken, shared, and lived out here.

In addition to weekly events, students are also given opportunities to attend special events and Sunday morning classes. No matter their background, we encourage teens to simply come as they are to learn about the never-ending love of God and how He cares for them.

Other Ministries
Our children’s programs provide a warm, creative environment where your child’s faith can be nurtured and energized. We employ a variety of fun activities to teach kids about God’s love and his plan for our lives.
FBC women have many opportunities to strengthen their faith walk, connect with like-minded women and make an impact on our world. We invite you to join us for as many activities and events as you can.
Real men get involved. Men face tremendous challenges today and need the strength of God and the support of Christian brothers. Our Men’s Ministry team makes available men’s events and men’s small groups for camaraderie and encouragement in Christ.
