“If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” – 1 Corinthians 12:26-27
Meeting the physical needs of the body of Christ is the essence of why the Care Ministry exists. It is an expression of fellow Christians in the church who have banded together with intentionality to care for other members in the church with real, practical help.
“You, God are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.” – Psalm 63:1
As a body of believers we meet periodically specifically to cry out to God, to lift up requests to God on behalf of others, to pray for the furtherance of the kingdom of God, as well as submit prayers for the well-being of the nation. In this way, the Prayer Ministry exists to maintain and increase intimacy with God through physical communication; at times personal and at times corporate.
